Completing the application is the fist step in the process to acquire a ferret kit from Fuzzy Business, but it does not guarantee approval. I reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. 

If this application is approved, you will be notified and your name will be added to my list of approved candidates to either take home a kit of a current litter or be added to the wait list for a future litter.

I will post a litter with photos once they are about 10 days old. Once kits reach 6 weeks of age, I will contact you and let you know witch kit(s) if any, I am offering for you to purchase. Once a choice is made, a deposit of $50 needs to be made via PayPal, Venmo, or other arrangement withing 48 hours.

This deposit goes to the total cost of the kit ($500). Payment is due at kit pickup.

Once you make a deposit, you are committing to take the kit. Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferred to another kit or future litter.

Kits can go to their new homes at 8-12 weeks. I will not hold kits for an extended time.

At time of pickup, a contract will need to be signed. If you are using a transport service, the contract can be signed electronically. You can read the contract ahead of time and let me know if you have any questions.

I recommend spay/neuter or get the Superlorin implant at about 1 year of age.

If at any point in the ferrets life you can no longer keep it, I will take the ferret in. You are free to re-home but DO NOT bring the ferret to a shelter or rescue. They are generally very full and have limited resources. I always have room and resources to take a ferret back.

Any applicant must:

• Be at least 21 year old.

• Have a good understanding of ferret care.

• Be able to provide appropriate food, medical care, time and attention to a ferret for the entirety of it’s life.

• Only be seeking a ferret to have as a family pet.
